In an academic partnership with the University of Central Nicaragua, Texila American University (TAU) offers a 2-year non-invasive cardiology fellowship program. It is to help aspirants get specialized as a cardiologist in India. It is a hospital-based PG fellowship that can be pursued after MBBS. In this course, students will be allowed to take up their classes in one of the cardio hospitals associated with TAU.
Upon taking up this non-invasive cardiology fellowship, students will be trained in various aspects of non-invasive cardiology. It enables them to interpret:
- X-Ray Chest
- Analyze Holter Recording
- Analyze Ambulatory BP Monitoring
- Supervise & interpret TMT
- Individually perform and interpret Echocardiogram (level 2 echo)
- Perform Stress/Dobutamine Stress Echo under supervision
